Most computers rent you access to someone else's stack. The Xeris Node hands you all three layers outright — the operating system, the network, and the intelligence.

Layer 01 — The OS

XerisOS

A sovereign operating system built from scratch by our systems team as a custom microkernel — lean, auditable, and free of the third-party baggage a general-purpose OS drags along. It boots directly from firmware and does exactly what it's told, nothing more. This is the foundation every Xeris Node runs on.

Layer 02 — The Network

Full Blockchain Node

Every box runs a full node on the Xeris L1 — proof-of-history ordering, Scrypt proof-of-work, and stake-weighted leader election. Stake XRS to validate and earn.

Layer 03 — The Intelligence

Ari, On-Device

Our LLM ships pre-loaded and serves inference locally over HTTP/RPC. No API calls, no telemetry — your prompts never leave the box.

Keys Held Locally

Node and wallet keys are generated and stored on the device. Nothing custodial, nothing phoning home. You hold the machine, you hold the keys.

Plug In & Go

Ships with XerisOS and Ari flashed at the factory and burn-in tested. Power it on, connect it, and it syncs the chain and serves Ari out of the box.

The Trick

No GPU. All CPU.

Ari doesn't need a $2,000 graphics card. The Xeris Inference Engine runs the whole model on the CPU with a custom, INT4-optimized matrix runtime — feeding it with mandatory dual-channel DDR5 for the bandwidth inference actually depends on.

That's how a near-silent 65 W box does real work: cheaper to build, cheaper to run, and small enough to sit on a shelf and forget.
